Nicholas Widener is a photographer and educator based in Atlanta, Georgia. His work focuses on how people move through places they do not fully belong to, and how those environments shape behavior, attention, and identity. Working primarily in long-form projects, he photographs from within communities he is directly embedded in, navigating the tension between observation and participation.
