Nicholas Widener is a photographer whose work explores endurance, ritual, and the systems—athletic, institutional, and geographic—that shape how bodies move through time and space. His projects often center on objects, landscapes, and moments of repetition, using them as markers of memory, labor, and identity.
Working across long-term photographic series, Widener is drawn to environments where structure and vulnerability coexist: training grounds, schools, coastlines, and places of temporary belonging. He lives and works in Georgia, where he is also an educator and coach.
